Vivid Account Of Sinking Of Russian Ship

Tokyo, Dec. 14,

A lurid picture of the disaster which befell the 3,000-ton Soviet camer Indigirku clnlming a toll of several hundred lives, is given in a telephone message from Wakkenal.

The Soviet ship, with over 1,000 passengers, mostly fishermen back from Kamchatka and Including 100 women, went aground at a point 300 metres off Kichibetsu at the north- eastern extremity of Hokkaido at 1.20 m. on Tuesday and immediate- ly sprung a big hole.
