At the moment there are several trends, but what promises to be first and foremost this winter is the Victorian influence-in make-up, in hair-dos; in the new fashions with their cute little bustles and willowy waistlines, even in bed- room styles.

New York---Whother one is watch- ing a football game or strollers on the avenue, wherever one sees smart crowds out-of-doors, the general tone of the picture is gray. Let's recall and recount a football crowd at Princeton recently.
