This despatch gives the history of a young rascal whom the magistrates recommended for deportation after his fourth conviction, on the

ground of

incorrigible Thief: all the members

of the Ex Council concurred in the recommendation, but M. Hennessy discharged him; and submits

approval. Syth 5. of Jail. The magistrates sitting together held him to be under 16 & ordered him to be logged

himself.
