A LOCAL PROBLEM

IF there is one protest which fans may justly make to Hongkong picture house proprictors and distributors it is this: Why don't you show us more Robert Bench- ley shorts? and why, when you have one to show, don't you advertise it in the Press and spare us the regret of missing such a treat?

Carola Goya, the celebrated Spanish dancer, and Beatrice Burford, American harpist, who will give a concret at the Roof Garden, Hong- keng fotel, on Saturday,

Most picture-goers know the name of Robert Benchley, but even those whose attendance at shows is only casual probably know him by sight-and are un- doubtedly much the better for it. The mere recollection of Auch oddments as "How Train a Dog," "How to Bring Up / Child." "How to Be a Detec- tive" and the priceless "How to Go To Sleep" is a treat.
