Robinson Brilliant In Goal: Navy Defence Lapses In Second Half

A GAME marked with thrills and with never a dull moment throughout was the Navy versus Eastern match played at the Hongkong Club ground yesterday with the Eastern coming out victors by six goals to two.

The score is no indication of the run of play which was very fast with the ball swinging from one and to the other with great rapidity.

The hero of the hour was Robinson at goal, who saved time and again from point blank shots and several times going full length to turn almost certain goals into

corners.

Hau Ching-to played 'n spec-| tacular egoistic game and during the last stages of the game scored a nice goal. For Eastern, Chung Kin-hai played éxcellently and secured his hat trick.

The inclusion of Kong Siu-king, a former Three Cultures (Shanghal} and Macao interporter, strengthened the Eastern defence, and he gave a very good account of himself at right back. Tanng Chung-wan played his usual good game and gave great sup- port to Kong. The half back line seemed unable to hold the fast Navy

running forwards, Phillipa practically off their feet.
