PHOENIX, Ariz., Oct. 25 (UP). The Governor's office has revealed that Winnie Ruth Judd, Arizona's blonde "trunk murderess" escaped from the State Insane Hospital yesterday.
Her absence was discovered during the routine. morning checkup.
Winnie was convicted May 11, 1932 for murdering two Phoenix nurses, Misses Hedwig Samuelson and Ahnes Ann Le Roie, and escaped hanging when she was adjudged insane.
