League: Australians Discuss 1941 Tests

(By "Tinker")

THE DECISION of the Shanghai Hockey Associa- tion to suspend their men's league for this season comes as a surprise to Hongkong, where every effort is being made to continue sport despite the troubles which sur- round us.

It is true that the motion was carried by only aight votes to six, which indicates an even division of 'opinion, but it is hard to believe that the sole basis for suspending the League was because "the big leagues in England had suspended activity."
