The petition of Mo-tum-tee, captain of the junk residing in the Mai Isin shop 109 fervois Street, praying for restitution of some property which has been mutilated for smuggled goods and rapaciously seized by the Chinese soldiers cruising in British Territory — Humbly showeth.

That on the 12th day of the 9th Month (October 28th) your petitioner's junk sailed from Sha-U-Chung.

And at 5 o'clock she arrived at Hung Ham - That at 5 o'clock your petitioner's customers engaged boats to ship their goods on board your petitioner's junk in Tong Chong.
