From New Trade Pact With Germany

SOFIA, Oct, 12 (Reuter).-- Bulgaria has gained better terms for a trade treaty with Germany as a result of the negotiations which are now practically con- cluded.

Bulgaria's exports lo, Germany will be increased. She would have pre- ferred not to export some of the comI- modities affected like skins, meat and hemp; but she has gained an ad- Vantage in that part of the payments i will be made in free currentles.

To obtain what they wanted, the Germans had to promise to supply Bulgarin with petrol, oil and cotton.

ANOTHER PEACE REPORT DENIED

ROME, Oct. 12 (Reuter),——

There is no belief in the reports,

purporting to emanate from Berlin, that Italy, Germany and Russia are to consult on "peace proposals."

It is pointed out that there is no treaty between Russla and Inly providing for consultations on the Lines of the German-Italian or German-Russion Treatles.

The Premier rejected the Nazi peace proposals even if that amount by 1938 and it is more bluntly than M. Daladier and made an even firmer reaffirmation of the Allies' determination to persevere to the bitter end.
