Under the
ownership and moringement -as the Ying King Res taurant, Wanchal, the Golden City Restaurant is speciully prepared to cater for both Chinese and European putrons, its necommodation including over 40 rooms and several spacious Jolis,
The Interior of the building is generously fuerd with marble, giving a most pleasing atmosphere. On the around floor in a cafe balcony in the American manner and the upper floors are decorated in a variety of styles, each faithful to its den. The lift and stale heads simulate the Great Wall of China in miniature elevation, and at one side is a model of the famous wall of the Nine Dragons, in delight- ful colour. On the upposite side is a rotunda representing the Tempie of Smiling Flowers, with illuminated panorama of Pelping as background. The Altar of Heaven is represented by another rotunda, while the halls opening from the nin "courtyard" of the floor are

Two pillars in the "courtyard" Ire cleverly camouflaged, as sturdy trees, with tollage splashing the celling with colour. The restaurant is staffed with some of the best cooks in South China.
