boat sun fire 4 shots at the firm trat. the opium boat men fired ten shots back. About 10 minutes after the Opium boat was beached the Mandarins' boat was run on to the beach near the opium boat. I saw a man in the white jacket and men in red jackets jump out of the Mandarin boat and run up the hill after the opium boat men. The Mandarins came up towards the light house about 40 yards from the water's edge and then returned. They then went to the opium boat and took her in tow. A Mandarin was going with them round Cape d'Aguilar up the Taiting Channel.
