Yesterday at 4:43 P.M. An Opium Boat chased by a Mandarin junk were run on shore below the Light house. Several pistol shots were exchanged between the crews. The Captain and four men of the opium boat came up to the light house for protection. The Mandarin crew then came on board ashore, put a prize crew on the former, took it and the opium with them, the whole affair lasted but 10 minutes.
