J.G. Austin being adhere to the decision conveyed in

letter of 7th May asking for return of the whole of the opium.

2. H.M. Consul, Canton Reports that the Taotai has stated

Sir J.M. Robertson, H.M.S.

in reply, that the residue of the opium seized shall be made good.
