Britain's Reaction To Declaration of War.

(By Air Mail)

London, September 4. TIIE British public knew of the declaration of war at 11 o'clock on Sunday morning Soptember 3; Parliament officially heard at 12 o'clock. This was the first time Parliament sat on n Sunday for many years-I do not remember it having so sat oven in the Great War. On that occasion he had nothing novel to say because he' was awaiting the decision of the French Government and people therefore thought that his statement, which he carefully read, was indicative of some slight weakening.
