fired at and wounded Cheang Hun Tai (the father of the master of the J shop which had been plundered) in your places viz :- three wounds on left buttock (evidently made by "slugs" and each about the size of a sixpence), and a slight wound on the right buttock; it is believed that two of the robbers were wounded, one in the right shoulder and the other in the right leg.
The junk was last seen standing in the direction of George Bay, Lamma Island.
