Piratical Attack on Ap Ki Chau.
At 12.15 am. 3rd May fifteen to twenty armed men landed from a junk and attacked a shop in the village of Ap Lishan (opposite Aberdeens) and carried off money and property to the value of about fifty dollars. They also carried two of their convades who had been wounded by the Police and, boarding their junk, sailed in the direction of Lamma Island.
