Mrs.
Dorothy McManus, of El Arish, vin Innisfall, Queensland, Australlo, has written to enquire about the recent death of her brother, the late Sub-Inspector G. H. Baker of the longkang Pelice.
Mrs. McManus and her sistera were born in Hongkong and left with their father when he retired in 1913. All have married Australans. Their mother died in Hongkong.
Mrs. McManus has a sugar form. Her husband died eighteen months ago and her father two years ago,
The father of the Jate Sub- Inspector Daker and .ot Mrs. McManur was Chief Inspector Henry George Baker, who joined the Force In 1882 as a constable and, become |Chief Inspector in 1908. At his death
he was 70 years old..
