1. Dietary
(a) Prisoners on penal diet are compelled to do every day a certain amount of moderately hard work, such as, say, Oakum picking to the extent of from ½ lb to 1 lb each day.
(b) The practice of allowing 1 lb of pork per week in addition to the regular diet for Prisoners sentenced to 3 years penal servitude and upward is to be discontinued.
(c) In no case are any provisions beyond what are contained in the New Dietary scale to be supplied to any prisoner without authority of the Colonial Surgeon.
