DOZENS OF EAST END MARRIED COUPLES, WONDER-

The former curate of St. John's Parish Church, in the East End of London-the man who had married them-was sen- tenced to six months' imprisonment for forgery at the London Sessions recently.
He had obtained the post of curate by posing as "the Rev." Frank Anderson Moss, also known as "the Rev." Moss Ellis. He was really Thomas Joseph Ellis, former sculleryman, and was found guilty at the sessions of forging a Post Office Savings Bank withdrawal receipt and obtaining £3.
The Bishop of Stepney, the Rt. Rev. Robert Moberly, is able to reassure the couples whom Ellis married, however.
