Maple Syrup Recipes
Maplo Dumplings
Sleve together two breakfast- cupfuls of flour, four teaspoon- fuls of baking powder, half a teaspoonful of salt and three teaspoonfuls of sugar. Mix in two and a half tablespoonfuls of butter or Inrd, and moisten with a breakfastcupful of milk, stir- ring the mixture quickly until you have a stiff dough. Make a syrup of two breakfastcups of maple syrup and one of Water, bring this to the boil, and drop the dumpling mixture into it in tablespoonfuls. Cover and cook for twelve minutes then drain the dumplings well, and serve them with the syrup, reduced if; you like as the sauce.
