On the 14th Oct: 1864 joined on board the Convict Hulk "Seaflower" at Cutter's Bay.
2nd March 1865 - Resigned.
Joined Victoria Gaol on 20th April 1865.
21st January 1866, promoted to 1st Class Warder.
1st March 1866, appointed Chief Warder.
19th Sept. 1866 - Transferred to Police Department on 17th Jan'y 1867 and resigned.
30th June 1868.
Rejoined the Gaol Department on 10th July 1868.
14th July 1868 and promoted to Warden.
Dr. September 1868.
