CHINESE DAVIS CUPPERS MEET IN FINAL
Kho Sin-kie And Choy Win Penultimate Ties In Bournemouth Event
The success of the Chinese Davis Cup players, Kho Sin-kie (holder) and W. C. Choy, has been the feature of the Bournemouth hardcourt tennis championships now in progress.

to date by overcoming Charles Hare,
the British Davis Cupper, in four sets after losng the first to love.
According to Renter Kho played superlative tennis in 'accounting for McPhail, who led 2-1 in the first and third sets. The champion's delicate drop shots, Jobs and hard forehand drives, however, kept McPhall run- ning to retrieve. The Brilon fought, pluckily and scored some belliant net winners, but he was outclassed by the Chinese, who led 5-2 and 30-love in the third set,
McPhail soved the eighth game, however, but succumbed in the next. Kho won by scores of 0-3, 6-3, 6-3.
CHOY'S ACHIEVEMENT
If anything, Choy's victory over Charles Hure was a better achieve ment, as the latter is considered 10: be the outstanding British player next; to "Bunny" Austin.

Exhibition Programme For. May 13
The Hongkong Tennis Champion-
ships organised by the Hongkong Cricket Club will terminate next week when both the singles and the doubles antis will be played, weather per- miling.
On Monday, the Tsui brothers will meet in the final of the singles, while on Wednesday they will play their club-mates, Lee Yue-wing and Ho Ka-lau, in the final of the doubles. Prizes won during the tournament will be distributed at the end of the latter match.
