The 15th Section as now amended requires that all children who have completed the required number of attendances shall be presented for examination. Formerly optional with the manager whether he would present them or not. The section provides also for the forwarding of the results of the examination of each scholar to the manager.
The most important change proposed is in the values of the passes. The change will be best seen by showing what the schools actually received last year under the present system, and what they would have received, if they had been paid according to the scale that is now proposed and detailed in Enclosure 1.
