Four Chinese sappers of the Royal Engineers figured in twol appeals against sentences before the Chief Justice, Sir Atholl against A. G. Hargreave, of Imperial MacGregor in the Appeal Court yesterday.
Appellant in the first case
was Sapper Ho You, and he appealed against sentence of six months' hard Inbour imposed by Mr. R. A, D. Forrest, Firat Magistrate, on a charge of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. Complainant was Tam Sing, and it was stated that the assault took place in Lockhart Road on March 6.
