Violation Of Treaty
London, Apr. 4. Reports that military action against Albania is imminent, and that Italy has planned to create an Italian pro tectorate over Albania, are not con
firmed in a semi-official statement issued in London to-day.
The statement recalls that in King Victor Emmanuel's speech on March 23, Albaniu was Tiong the enumerated nations with whom Italy maintained friendly relations.
Attention was further drawn to the Anglo-Italian declaration of January 22, 1937, in which both countries recognise the sovereignty of the countries bordering the Mediter ranean Sea.
