U.S. WARNED OF ARMS LAG BY ARMY LEADER
NEW YORK, Feb. 13.
DESPITE THE FACT that the United States is now building 100 warships, including six battleships, and is rushing preparations to augment the army, navy, and air forces with the most modern type of fighting planes, the United States is "not adequately prepared for a major war," declared Rear-Admiral Clark Woodward in addressing the American Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers to-day.
