Incident Which Led To Police Officer Shooting

The secidental shooting of a young Chinese girl, Liu Yu, 22, by Sergeant

N. T. Rogers at the Ma Tau Chung on February 7, when he was chasing a number of men, had a sequel at the Kowloon Magistracy on Saturday when Man Wn 20, mason, admitted a charge of common assault and re- ceived a sentence of three months' hard labour.

Inspector H. E. Rogers prosecuted and said that the complainant in the case, Au Ki 33, a blacksmith, was lengaged at the new refugee huts in Ma Tau Chung.
