Cricketers Want To See Rugger, So Two Ties Are Put Back!
(By "R. ABBIT")
I have learned that the matches between the First and Second Eleven's of H.K.C.C. and Recreio have been postponed until the 18th of March, as I gather everybody wants to go and see the Rugger, the Colony v. Malaya. I suppose it is all right, but seeing that they had made up their minds to run League matches off in a row, it seems rather to defeat the purpose if people cancel games be- cause they want to go and look at the Rugger. We shall next hear of games being cancelled because people want to go and look at the softball!

In my opinion, the Chinese are the more likely team to win their way into the next round. They are definitely the better balanced side: their greatest drawback is that they believe ln pro nucl inter-pnanirnu: even when near goal, and in this way too many scoring opportunities are thrown away.
