ATTRACTIVE PROGRAMME AT FANLING ON SUNDAY

Grand National Race

To Celebrate Its Fourteenth Birthday WHY NOT CALL ONE FENCE "BECHERS"?

(By "Captain Foster")

All the sporting celebrities will no doubt wend their way to Fanling on Sunday when two Grand National

·Steeplechases (one confined to Australian and the other to China ponies) will be contested at Kwanti racecourse. There are, in addition, the Fox Hunters' Plate (a hurdle race for Chinà ponics, bona fide hunters) and three flat handicap events for Australian and China ponies.

The Stewards of the Fanling Hunt and Race Club are to be congratulat- ed in providing the public with such an attractive programme.
