JAPAN'S THREAT TO PRINCIPLES OF SUN YAT-SEN
Tokyo, Feb. 3. DESCRIBING THE IDEAS propounded to the Chinese people as communism, the Japanese Premier, Viscount Hiranuma, told the Lower House of the Diet to-day that Japan intended to modify the Three People's Principles insofar as they ran counter to the spirit of the proposed East Asia Order.
"The Three People's Prin- ciples represent a doctrine pro- pounded in China', the Premier declared.
"Those thoughts and idens which hamper the completion of the New Order or relationship-in-East-Astu must be changed.
"Because the ideas of Communism are apparently included in the ideas prevalling in China, completion of a new order, which is our ultimate object in the present campaign, will never be attained unless these ideas are chfectively modifled.
"In altering these words, I am summing up the views of the Government regarding the Three People's Principles in China."— Donzel.
