The Industrial Co-Operatives
As already announced, with a view to providing work for the thousands of unemployed refugees in the war zones a number of public-spirited Chinese leaders, Government officials and forolga well-wishers of China have organised a movement for the promotion of industrial co-operatives.
One of its lending organisers, Miss Ida Pruilt, has been in Hongkong for some weeks organising a Promotion Committee to replace the old Committee, which has been dissolved because most of its members have gone to the interior. For the purpose of organising a new Committee letters of invitation have been sent out to residents to meet on Wednesday in the room of the Emergency Rellef Council, Gloucester Building.
