Snow Causes Postponement Of Soccer Ties

Snow caused the postponement of several maces in to-day's soccer programme, and in one match, between Leeds and Hudders field, snow and bad light forced the game to be abandoned after 61 minutes' play.

Albert Ward, one of the most distinguished cricketers of his day, died at his home in Boiton yesterday in his seventy-fourth year.

He recalls memories of days when 1 matches in this country meant so
