EXTENSIVE preparations are being made for the visit
to Rome of Mr. Neville Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax. There is feverish activity in the Foreign Office, which is in constant communication with both Paris and Rome in order to set the stage for the conversations which are regarded with extraordinary interest by the entire world.
