NAVY OFFICER SUES CLEAN OUT YOUR
AIRMAN Divorce Jury Told Of Wife's Cruise

SPECIAL JURY disagreed recently in a'divorce case in which a naval officer complained that his wife and an R.A.F. officer occupied cabins near cach other on a long cruise.
Lieut.-Commander Roland Charlton Allen, R.N., of Linden- gardens, Notting Hill, W., petitioned in the Divorce Court for a decree against Mrs. Mora Allen, who lives at Pit Farm-road, Guildford.
The President. Sir Boyd Merri- man, discharged the jury after the foreman had reported that the disagreement was substantial,
Mr. Norman Birkett, K.C., had been briefed for Lleut.-Commander Allen, and Sir Patrick Hastings, į K.C., for Mr. Allen.
Commander Allen charged his wife with misconduct with Wing Com-i mander John Valentine Steele, of the RA.F., and claimed damages | from him The allegation denied.
