SCHACHT'S VISIT Jewish Immigration Discussed
Berlin, Dec. 19. Following his return to Berlin, 11 is officially admitted that Dr. Schacht discussed the question of Jewish Im- migration during his stay in London last week,
No definite agreement was reached, the official statement adds, but the way has now been paved for the Evian Committee to establish con- tact with the German authorities.
The official statement on Dr. Schacht's visit to London states that it is correct to say that he made certain suggestions as to how emigra- lion of Jews in Germany could be facilitated with the co-operation of the German Government.
The visit will provide an op- portunity, the statement adds, for discussing questions arising out of the business relations of the two Central Banks-Acuter.
