Rousing Rugger Match At Valley On Saturday

(By "Fly-Hair")'

In a rousing game of rugger played at Happy Valley on Saturday afternoon the Club defeated a Navy team by 18 points (five trios and a dropped penalty goal) to 15 points (three tries and two penalty goal). Both teams were under-strength.

Interest in the game never lagged and it was anybody's match till the final whistle was blown, to even was the scoring. Scores were made by each team in turn except on one occasion when Navy acored a try and a penalty goal in succession.

Several changes were made to the teams originally announced, Grieve, being available, was played at inside three and MacGrath went back to hin usual position at full-back.
