King's Speech Criticised By Mr. Attlee

London, Nov. 8.

Mr. Clement Atller, Lenuer of the Opposlton, was keenly critical of the King's Speech when Parliament re-opened to-day.

He complained that the speech did not contain any indication of a real constructive programme, and there was no sign of any political economic measures to bring pence to a distracted world,

and

He said that the King's reference to "certain deficiencies" in national defence was "one of the most glorious euphemisms he had ever heard."
