FTER THE EMPRESS OF BRITAIN HAS CALLED AT HONGKONG IN THE COURSE OF HER WORLD CRUISE NEXT MARCH, THE GIANT LINER WILL CONTINUE HER VOYAGE TO ENGLAND FOR OVERJIAUL BEFORE TAKING THE KING AND QUEEN ACROSS THE ATLANTIC ON A THREE-WEEKS VISIT TO CANADA.
The Empress of Britain, flag-ship of the Canadian Pacific Line, is scheduled to leave New York on the start| of the world cruise on January 7, and will reach Hong- kong, on March 8..
The ship will stay three and a half days in Hong- kong, leaving port on March 11.
No other passengers will be carried on the Empress of Britain when the King and Queen travel to Canada. Before the start of the voyage structural alterations will be made at Southampton and a large number of rooms thrown into one suite.
As far as is known at present, neither Princess Elizabeth nor Princess Mar- garet will accompany their mother and father.

THREE DRAFT Imperial Ordinances designed to invoke Article 18 and 22 of the National General Mobilization Act providing for the training of technical engineers in factories and schools and replenishment of facilities for the training, were approved by the inquiry committee on the N.G.M.A. following a session held at the Premier's official residence this morning.
With the Cabinet Council approving the plans on Tuesday, the measures will be referred to the Throne for Imperial sane- tion. The thrce Imperial Ordinancen will be promulgated by the end of next week-Domei.
