ESKIMO COLONY
The wife of the Rov, J. H. Webster with her three-month-old baby- born in a log-cabin in an Eskimo colony of North-West Canada- nrrived at Liverpool recently.
The father, who came with them. had to act as midwife at the birth, there not being a doctor or nurse within 100 miles.
PEN THOUSAND sheep changed hands at the annual sheep fair at Findon, Sussex,
Old shepherds whose whole lives have been lived out on the Downs with their flocks never miss the fair. It is their one chance of a gossip over old times and present rietes.
Here are some of them, well known in farming circles on the sweeping Sussex hills.
