Bailey (or a British subject, on Coffin) Island is associated with having murdered "Bob", Robinson's Assistant, a British subject (year not given). Seo-Robinson has since died. In 1872 B. Pease, who married Robinson's daughter, applied to Consul Robertson for assistance in recovering Robinson's property.

2 Louis Lessen, a Frenchman, is charged with having dispossessed Thos. Webb (British subject) of all his land & property on Peel Island in 1869. The latter, who also married a daughter of Geo. Robinson, applied to Consul Robertson, through B. Pease, in 1878, for restitution of his property.

It would also be desirable to obtain information as to the reported murder of B. Pease when he visited Yokohama in 1878. He stated that he was going on to Hawaii to obtain supplies of stock. Did he do so?

2 Consul.
