Pease, who married Robinson's daughter, applied to Consul Robertson for assistance in recovering Robinson's property.

It would also be desirable to obtain information as to the reported murder of B. Pease when he visited Yokohama in 1878. He stated that he was going on to Hawaii to obtain supplies of stock. Did he do so?
