Von Crammn To Be Released Soon
The
Berlin, Oct. 12. German tennis champion, Baron Gottfried von Cramm, who, it will be recalled was sentenced to a prison term of one year for grave moral delinquencies last May will be, according to a statement issued by authoritative quarters here, released from prison on October 10.
For the remainder of the reprieve will be the sentence
granted. Baron Gottfried von Cramm hnd as previously reported appealed against the sentence but had fater withdrawn the appeal on advice of his attorneys. It was reported at that time that von Cramm had been warned that it is quite kely that the court of appeal. might pronounce a more severe ken- tence instead of reducing the original sentence and that a reduction of the prison term of one year imposed upon von Cramm by the court of first Instance is not to be expected in any
Cure.
Tennis fans in Germany naturally wonder whether von Cramm
