Annual Meeting Of Chinese Federation

The Hongkong Chloess Amateur Atifetit Federation's annual swim- ming championships commenced at the South China A.A. Pavilion on Saturday with a programme of eight. Conditions were ideal for events. swimming and some of the context- ants returned excellent limes.

Llandudno, Oct. 1. England. with ́fve - Ryder' Cup players in the team, has won the International Golf Tournament. Sho beat Wales by ten matches to four, defeated Ireland 11-3 and beat Scot- land 11-4.

Scotland came second, Ireland third and Wales fourth.

Surprises of the Tournament were the defeat of Alfred Padgham, form- er British Open Champlon, by R. F. Hill, of Wales, by 2 and 1, and the victory of K, Williams.(Wales) over Arthur Lacey, the Ryder Cup player, by 3 and 1-Reuter.
