"PHANTOM" BUSINESS FRAUD Judge Denounces Bogus Pools
Six of the seven men in the "million pounds trial," on trial at the Old Balley for 14 days, were recently found guilty of conspiracy and false pretences. Sentence was postponed. George Josiah Barifleld, aged 49, film director, of St. James's, S.W., was found not guilty and discharged.
