Stockholm, Aug. 7. Warner Olund, film uctor, famous for his characterisation of Charlie Chan, Chinese detective, died here to-day-Reuter,

Born at Umen, Sweden, in 1880, Oland was known personally in Hongkong, which he visited in 1930 with his wife. He migrated to America at an early age and was educated in Boston, going on the legitimate stage as a young man.
