I am directed by the Admiralty to forward to you a copy of an Admiralty letter passed by the Legislature of Hong Kong on 9 of 1875, for the more effectual Protection of Her Majesty's Naval Stores, together with a Report of the Local Attorney General thereon.
I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to request that you will point out to the Earl of Carnarvon that in the schedule of the above ordinance, the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies...
