I am directed by the Law Council to forward to you the following documents.
1. A copy of a report from the then Att. Gen. S. J. Hill dated the 12th October 1860.
2. A copy of those ordinances relating to a Hongkong Administration 11/1068.
3. A copy of a letter from the Governor of Hongkong, No. 216 of 27th December 1876, transmitting a Bill relating to amendments of the Law & Procedure.
4. A copy of this Bill.
The Governor stated that he had withdrawn the Bill in consequence of the objection made by the Chief Justice in Council to its 2nd reading.
