London, June 16. Efforts by leading specialists of Britain to save the lives of the Taylor quadruplets, born on Monday In Wilton Public Hospital, are falling.

The eldest of the four infants died this morning, and another is in a critical condition and, is not expected to live.

The father of the quadruplota is an unemployed Liverpool carter. Hils wife is small, fair-haired and 20 years of age. Slic already has four children.

Since their birth the four bables have been kept in an incubator where a constant temperature of 98 degrees has been maintained. The eldest Infant commenced to weaken yester- dry, and died early this morning.
