Considerable confusion followed the throwing of two bombs at the corner of Foochow Road and tho Bund. Shanghai, recently, resulting in injuries to several Chinese, but without fatalities. Double funeral service for the late Miss Violet Ethel Thompson and her fiance, Mr. Henry Hufner of Shanghal, who both died in traglo circumstances, was held at the Bubbling Well Cemetery last week before a large gathering of friends of the deceased, who came to pay their last respects. Upper ploture shows the two caskets being wheeled by pall-bearers to the double grave after service in the Chapel. Lower ploture shows Dean A. C. 8. Trivett, of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, who conducted both the Chapel and
graveside services, leading the two corleges.
