THE result of the Toronto Stork Derby was declared by

the Supreme Court of the State as follows:

Mrs, Isabel Maclean, aged 34, wife of a Civil Servant;

Mrs. Annie Smith, wife of a fireman;

Mrs. Kathleen Nagle, aged 32, wife of a carpenter; and

Mrs. Timlek, aged 38, whose husband is now an employee

of Toronto Parks Department, but had long been out of work.

Each of these mothers has nine children born within ten years, and for this they share £100,000 under the will of the eccentric millionaire, Charles Vance Millar.

Recently over the Atlantic telephone a London Sunday Frispatch reporter spoke with Mrs. Alice Timleck, mother of 17 children.

"Sure, I've earned me money, and anw I'm going to sit back and enjoy 1t, begorroll" came the voice in the rich brogue of her native Kildare.

"It's grand to be a rich wannn- after all these years of drudgery."

A sigh of relelf came across the Lelephone.

Then a deep masculine voler cut into the conversation. It was Arthur Hollis Timlecht.
