Kinhwa, Apr. 14.
Japanese planes carried out bomb- ing raids over many cities in Che- klong yesterday.
Fourteen of the rolders came here in the afternoon. After circling over the city for some time, they dumped 24 bombs on the rallway station, killing six civillans, wounding more than 20 and demolishing over 40 houses.
Wenchow was again bombed by four Japanese machines. Altogether 13 bombs were dropped, causing little damage.
At Linpu on the Cheklang-Kiangsi Railway, three Japanese planes re- leased Ave missiles, which killed two persons.
Yushan, Chenghsien and Sinoshan were also bombed, but little damage was caused-Central News.

Pelping, Apr. 14. Reliable American reports state that tension at the American Mis- sion Hospital at Cheloo has been alleviated. The Japanese pickets have been removed, following a com- promise arrangement whereby re- presentatives of the local Chinese authorities are allowed to enter the hospital to identify wounded Chinese.
The Japanese had picketed the hos refusal of the American hospital au- thorities to allow them to enter, pre- sumably to arrest three wounded Chinese, whom they suspected of par- ticipating in the recent fighting.— United Press.
